French Horns

Tom FishTom Fish is principle French horn in the Great Lakes Wind Symphony.  He is completing his degree in music education at Mansfield University.  He has participated in various competitions including the International Horn Competition in 2014, as well as Rochester’s own 198th Army Band Competition where he received runner-up in 2014. Also, he is a substitute for the Northern Tier Symphony Orchestra. He studies with Mansfield University’s horn professor, Dr. Rebecca Dodson-Webster, and previously studied with Mr. Peter Ivanov from Marywood University.  After graduation, Tom is seeking to pursue a Master’s degree in horn performance.

Dylan KrallDylan Krall is currently a founding member of the Great Lakes Wind Symphony performing on 2nd Horn. He is completing his undergraduate degree in Music at Mansfield University, studying with Dr. Rebecca Dodson-Webster. Krall is a graduate of Dundee Central School in Dundee, New York, and performs in the MU Symphony Orchestra and Concert Wind Ensemble.

 

 

Megan WarrinerMegan Warriner is proud to be performing fourth Horn in the Great Lakes Wind Symphony. She is currently working towards a dual degree in Music Education and Horn Performance at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. At Mansfield, Megan is the Secretary and Treasurer of the Horn Club. She is also a member of the Brass Band, Symphony Orchestra, and is Principal Horn of the Concert Wind Ensemble. She enjoys playing solo repertoire by her two favorite composers—R. Strauss and W.A. Mozart. Megan is from Greenwood, NY.
